Accommodation
Five belltents, each in its own peaceful part of our land. Minimum of 2 days.
A converted vintage Bedford, now a tiny house among the trees.
Bring your own tent or camper and stay in one of our spots.
Shared facilities: Bathroom with warm showers, compost toilets, community kitchen and living space, pool, shaded chill area. Also available: The Malama Lodge

For those who prefer solid walls or single accommodation, there are 2 wooden tiny houses.
We can host groups up to 20 people (including the facilitators).

Our story
We are a French – Austrian couple with three children living in Portugal since September 2017.
It all started as a dream when we were 20 … the vision of living in a warm country, growing our own vegetables, barefoot in the nature, living mostly outdoor, creating an eco friendly life space…
The meaning of Malama
MALAMA means in the Hawaiian language “taking care of something precious”, and each letter of “MALAMA” stands for one of our precious values.
Living Space
Being in contact with animals has transforming power.

Gardening is one of the carrying pillars of Malama. It brings the community together.
We are lucky to live so close to the amazing beaches of Portugal’s west coast.
